We often tell ourselves that our marriage/relationship is the most important thing to us. But in midst of an argument, we can forget that our marriage/relationship needs to be taken care of too. Proving our point, being right or not wanting to admit we are wrong can become our primary goal, not the health or happiness of our relationship. By the way, I offer FREE sample coaching sessions. Sessions are done over the phone so distance is not an issue. If your are interested, you can go to my website http://www.soulmatecoachcrystal.vpweb.com/ for contact information or email me a SoulmateCoachCrystal@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI just saw Carrie Fisher's show last night, Wishful Drinking, and she talked about her relationship with Paul Simon, saying that they were both very busy taking care of themselves and taking care of each other, but nobody was taking care of the relationship.

Hi Becky! Thanks for the compliment :-)!
ReplyDeleteI have tto remember this with my family. Arguments are so easy to get into, and I can become very defensive. It's sooo difficult, but remember the desired end, and planning the means around that does help! I'll have to try this.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years! Best wishes on all!
